From our first kiss (08.08.2016) to our wedding vows (08.08.2025) - when a date becomes destiny

When fate brought us together...

It was a warm summer evening in 2016 when destiny led us to our friend Stefan's gathering. The moment Marty's eyes met Annie's, time seemed to pause. "From the first glance, I knew she was different from anyone I'd ever met," Marty recalls. What followed was a magical dance of conversations and laughter as we found ourselves inventing reasons to see each other every day.

For six enchanted weeks, we shared our dreams, fears, and hopes for the future under starlit skies and golden sunsets. Then, on August 8, 2016, beneath a canopy of stars, we shared our first kiss - a moment that would forever mark the beginning of our love story.

Like all great love stories, ours faced an early challenge. Just three weeks after our hearts became one, Marty left for university in Denmark. But true love knows no distance. Determined to write our story together, Annie began researching Danish universities, and by January 2017, we were reunited - proving that when two souls are meant to be together, the universe conspires to make it happen.

Now, after eight beautiful years of growing together, supporting each other's dreams, and building a foundation of unwavering love and trust, we're ready to celebrate our commitment on the very same date. On August 8, 2025, surrounded by those we love most, we'll begin the next chapter of our story.
